Monophony and choreography are holistic exercises that build one's mind and body. Adding dance and music to academics is not a diversion or disturbance but can actually make students better in life. Not only do students learn to dance, engage in a physical activity but also experience something that highlights their spirit in today's classroom. Music also gives students unique opportunities to express themselves creatively and build confidence. Both can be called effective tools for supporting students in learning beyond reading and also unable the students learn qualities such as responsibility, persistence, communication skills, grit, and accountability.
Over all both dance and music offer a structured outlet for emotional release, while gaining awareness and appreciation of oneself and others.
